Principal Engineer - CX

YOUR IMPACT
As a Principal Engineer for our Customer Experience (CX) Domain, you will further build out the strategy of our GenAI offerings across the customer lifecycle, including agentic AI and conversational AI solutions for marketing, sales, and customer support. You will cultivate a competitive edge through your technical expertise and collaborate closely with the Domain Owner to shape the CX domain vision and roadmap.
You will lead or advise on some of our largest and most complex customer-facing projects, spanning pre-sales, solution design, and delivery. This is a highly visible, high-impact role that blends deep technical leadership with business strategy and client-facing excellence, and plays a critical role in defining how ML6 delivers AI-powered customer experiences at scale.
You will:
Define the Future: Drive the strategy for the CX domain, deciding where to invest our efforts, and how we approach the market. You will act as a key decision-maker in our technology roadmap, balancing innovation with client needs, scalability and long-term maintainability.
Win Big Deals: Act as a key technical differentiator in winning large deals by understanding complex CX challenges and translating them into compelling, AI-powered solutions in client conversations.
Lead the Way: Guide the largest and most complex projects in the domain from ideation to successful delivery. Be responsible for the delivery excellence across domain projects by building reusable building blocks and fostering knowledge sharing.
Solve the Toughest Problems: Act as a critical resource for project teams, helping them overcome complex technical, functional, and organizational challenges to ensure projects stay on track.
Orchestrate and Direct: Motivate teams, facilitate clear communication, and set responsibilities to ensure collective efforts are aligned with strategic goals. Provide technical or functional guidance and support to tech leads.
Be a Thought Leader: Share your expertise and operate as a thought leader within ML6, accelerating working groups and externalizing domain knowledge across the company.
WHY YOU
7+ years of experience in tech or consultancy with a proven track record of delivering large and complex software/data projects
A deep passion and knowledge of GenAI, conversational AI, and/or agentic systems, with a clear interest in customer-facing use cases such as marketing, sales, and customer support
Strong understanding of customer journeys, enterprise technology landscapes, and the organizational realities of implementing CX solutions at scale
A strategic mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business value, effectively communicating with both technical teams and C-level executives
Exceptional conflict resolution skills and the ability to ensure resolution in critical situations
A proactive and self-starting leader who thrives on taking full ownership of projects, teams, and domains
Strong communication skills in English and one local language (e.g., Dutch or German)
