HR Officer
We are looking to expand our Talent & Culture team with an HR Officer to accelerate the further growth of our company 🚀
Your Challenge
At ML6, we firmly believe in putting people first. Our Talent & Culture unit focuses on putting that into practice. As HR Officer you are responsible to support various HR functions and build a strong expertise in the Compensation & Benefits domain.
You will be joining our team of 4, of which one colleague also specialises in Compensation & Benefits. We have the flexibility within the team to work on each other's strengths and are building a diverse and complementary team. We are expanding the Talent & Culture team to further build out international knowledge and expertise.
You will focus on offering a top-notch people experience in line with our culture & values: smooth operations by optimising our processes, implementing attractive perks and benefits cross country & engaging our whole ML6 story. Among other responsibilities, you will:
- Cultivate the reward philosophy
- Stay up to date on market trends via benchmarking, inflation, extralegal benefits to keep salary grids & offerings competitive
- Ensure compliance with labor laws (contracts) and company policies
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR system
- Handle employee onboarding/offboarding, training, and development initiatives
- Administer payroll, benefits, and bonuses
- Assist with people reports and analytics
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process (postings, screening, and interview coordination)
Why you?
Local expertise
- Knowledge of labour law, payroll processes, compensation & benefits
- 3 years experience in implementing and optimizing operational systems, processes, and capabilities to support successful scaling in a fast paced international organization
- International experience, focused on Europe (pref: BE, NL, DACH)
Speaking people’s language
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and local language (Dutch/German), able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- You get what drives and motivates people & know which topics live in the company and act on them
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive people information
Innovative
- Creative approach of compensation initiatives
- Not afraid of gaining knowledge externally
- Up to date with the latest trends in the field
