Marketing Officer

Your challenge
The Marketing Officer aims to enhance brand visibility, attract and retain customers, and drive business growth through effective coordination of different stakeholders. This generalistic role can be devided into different responsibilities:
GTM & marketing strategy (20%):
Market positioning and branding
- Work with the Head of BD to crispen our overall market positioning in context of new offerings, new evolutions in the landscape of AI as well as emerging competitive landscape
- Support the head of BD and industry directors in defining the value proposition for our focus and growth industries
- Help to evaluate new industry offerings by providing an outside in view, eg. through desk research, interviews and competitive research
- Support the BD team and domain owners with developing go-to-market strategies for new offerings, testing out offers through well designed marketing campaigns before engaging in a full scale investment
Hands on marketing execution (60 - 70%):
Content strategy & development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and our go-to-market plan for industries and offerings
- Coordinate the creation of content within our different domains and the BD team
- Write attractive and crisp (business) content adjusted to our audience (ICP)
- Optimize and rewrite (existing) content in line with the needs of our audience
- Oversee the management and optimization of the company’s website (SEO & SEA)
- Ensure end to end content coordination between marketing & sales and manage our internal content hub
Social media
- Manage and coordinate the company’s social media presence by creating and maintaining a detailed social media calendar aligned with overall marketing campaigns, events, and key company announcements
Campaign management and Lead generation
- Oversee the creation and deployment of marketing campaigns across different channels to insure qualitative leads
- Coach our internal designer and ensure requests are well balanced with other priorities
Events
- Organize, coordinate and manage different internal and external events
Performance Management
- Data analysis: analyze campaign data to evaluate success, report on key metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Regularly monitor website performance metrics such as traffic, conversion rates and engagement, making data-driven decisions to improve site effectiveness
- Budget analysis: ensure that resources are allocated efficiently across various marketing channels, maximizing impact while staying within budget constraints
Coordination (10 - 20%):
- Collaborate with the BD unit and other units to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Manage and prioritize internal requests (Jira), provide visibility on backlog and communicate with internal stakeholders in order to ensure expectations are met
- External coordination: coordinate and oversee the work of external agencies and freelancers, ensuring their output meets the company's standards and objectives
- Public relations management: write and distribute press releases to communicate important company news, product updates, and other significant milestones to the media and public
Why you?
- A master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Experienced marketing professional with 5+ years of experience
- Excellent communication skills in English + one additional local language (German or Dutch) with the ability to collaborate and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using data to drive decision-making
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experienced in working with cross functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with company goals and objectives
- Flexible, curious and willing to embrace change for the better
