Senior Data Engineer

Job description

We are looking for exceptional data engineers to join our fast-growing team in Europe. At ML6 we transform the way companies work by building machine learning solutions on Google Cloud. As a Data Engineer, you'll contribute to this by building scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure using a dynamic and cutting-edge tech stack.

Within your team you will:

  • Efficiently translate customer business needs into end-to-end technical solutions
  • Conceptualize, design and implement data and cloud architecture
  • Build and deploy batch and streaming data pipelines
  • Build and deploy production ready applications on Google Cloud
  • Collaborate with ML and Software Engineers, Project Managers, and clients
  • Work with the following technologies:
    GCP, Python, Kubernetes, Dataflow / Apache Beam, Terraform, Flask / Connexion, BigQuery, DBT, Kubeflow Pipelines

We are looking for both junior and senior data engineers.



  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • You know your way around Python, Linux, SQL, Git
  • You are knowledgeable about design patterns and data structures
  • You can work both autonomously and in team, and take ownership of your work
  • You have an engineering mindset and are passionate about technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English


  • Previous experience as a data engineer
  • Experience with cloud based solutions (preferred Google Cloud)
  • Experience building data processing pipelines
  • Experience with BigQuery / data warehousing
  • Experience with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ...)
  • Experience with pipeline orchestration (KFP, Airflow, ...)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferred Terraform)
